Abstract

Hollow cathode glow discharge atomic emission spectrometry has been applied to the determination of silicon coupled with a novel gaseous hydride generation technique, involving drying of an aqueous solution of silicate (sample) and mixing with powdered LiAlH4. Sample introduction into the glow discharge chamber was performed via a pinhole at the center of the cathode which was connected to the hydride generator. The detection limit for silicon was 6μg at 288.1 nm and 30 μg at 251.6 nm.

Two d10 metal coordination polymers, [Zn(µ-Me2biim)Cl2] n (1) and [Cd3(MeHbiim)2(1,4-BDC)3] n (2) (Me2biim?=?N,N′-dimethyl-2,2′-biimidazole, MeHbiim?=?N-methyl-2,2′-biimidazole, 1,4-BDC?=?1,4-benzenedicarboxylate), were synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and characterized by elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, and single-crystal X-ray crystallography. Complex 1 features an infinite neutral zigzag 1-D chain. Interchain hydrogen-bonding interactions further extend the 1-D arrangement to generate a 2-D supramolecular architecture. Complex 2 features a 3-D coordination polymer with α-Po net topology, based on linear trinuclear {Cd3O14N4} clusters. Both complexes have high thermal stability and exhibit strong luminescence at room temperature.  相似文献

The novel heteronuclear complexes [Na2Zn(dipic)2(H2O)] n (1) and [Na2Mn(dipic)2(H2O)2] n (2) (H2dipic?=?pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid) were synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, analysis, IR spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis. Complex 1 consists of infinite 2D double layers, which are further attached into a 3D network through π–π stacking. All sodium ions are 3-coordinate. Complex 2 has an intricate 3D structure, in which two sodium ions are differently involved in forming polymeric coordination units, and are 3- and 7-coordinate, respectively. Dipic anions act as multidentate ligands showing novel and unprecedented bridging coordination modes. One ligand coordinates to three metal ions and with five bonds; the other coordinates five metal ions with nine bonds.  相似文献

A single molecular heterobimetallic complex, [Co2Ti(μ3‐O)(TFA)6(THF)3] (1) [TFA = trifluoroacetate, THF = tetrahydrofuran], was synthesized, structurally and spectroscopically characterized and implemented as a single‐source precursor for the preparation of CoTiO3–CoO composite thin films by aerosol‐assisted chemical vapour deposition (AACVD). The precursor complex was prepared by interaction of Co(OAc)2.4H2O [OAc = (CH3COO?)] with Ti(iso‐propoxide)4 in the presence of trifluoroacetic acid in THF, and was analysed by melting point, CHN, FT‐IR, single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction and thermogravimetric analysis. The precursor complex thermally decomposed at 480 °C to give a residual mass corresponding to a CoTiO3–CoO composite material. Good‐quality crystalline CoTiO3–CoO composite thin films deposited at 500 °C by AACVD and characterized through powder X‐ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy/energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy show that the crystallites have a rose‐flower‐like morphology with an average petal size in the range of 2–6 µm. Two new complexes, (CoIII)2(H3L?)2(0.5H2O)2(ClO4)4 (I) and (MnIII)2(H3L?)2(0.5H2O)2 (ClO4)4 (II), were synthesized and crystallographically characterized [H4L = 1,4,7,10‐tetra‐(2‐hydroxypropyl)‐l,4,7,10‐tetraazacyclododecane] using electrospray ionization mass spectrometry and X‐ray photoelectron spectrometery. The characterizations confirmed that the valences of the metal ions increased from divalent to trivalent due to deprotonation of one OH group (H4L was in the form of H3L?). Owing to the instability of Co(III) and Mn(III) in both air and in solution, they preferred to exist in divalent form. The two heptadentate complexes are extraordinary in that the chiral pendants of the complexes are different in configuration. Spectroscopic studies, viscosity measurements, thermal denaturation experiments and circular dichroism spectra demonstrated that the complexes were prone to interact with DNA by groove binding. At micromolar concentrations and under physiological conditions, the two complexes were able to oxidatively cleave the supercoiled pUC19 plasmid DNA into its nicked and linear forms. Mechanistic studies using various additives suggest the complexes had structures different from those of other inorganic complexes. These are the first reported inorganic complexes not containing planar aromatic ligands and yet binding at the major groove. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The crystal structure of [Zn2(2-pmOpe)2Cl4] (2-pmOpe?=?diethyl (pyridin-2-ylmethyl)phosphate) was determined by X-ray-diffraction method. The compound was also characterized by IR, far-IR, 1H, and 31P NMR spectroscopy. In this compound, 2-pmOpe is a bidentate N,O-bridging ligand and Zn(II) are slightly distorted tetrahedral ZnNOCl2. Zn(II) ions are doubly bridged by the 2-pmOpe ligands, resulting in a dinuclear species. The structure is stabilized by intermolecular C–H?···?O and C–H?···?Cl hydrogen bonds. The spectral properties are in agreement with the structural data.  相似文献

Development of sustainable bio-based materials for removal of toxic contaminants from water is a high priority goal. Novel bio-based binary and ternary copolymers with enhanced ion-exchange, adsorption and antibacterial properties were obtained by using plant biomass-derived diallyl esters of furandicarboxylic acid (FDCA) as crosslinking agents and easily available vinyl monomers. The synthesized copolymer materials showed higher sorption capacities for NiII, CoII and CuII compared to the commercial ion-exchange resins, and they maintained their high metal adsorption capacities for over 10 cycles of regeneration. The synthesized copolymer gels containing 1–5 wt % of the crosslinker showed excellent water absorption capacities. The synthesized copolymers with 1 % crosslinker content showed swelling ratios high enough to also act as moisture absorbents. Synthesized copolymers with crosslinker content of 10 wt % performed as contact-active antibacterials by inhibiting the growth of Gram-positive (S. aureus) and Gram-negative bacteria (E. coli, K. pneumonia) in suspension tests.  相似文献

This paper studies the fabrication and characterization of 80 nm zinc oxide anti-reflective coating (ARC) on flexible 1.3 μm thin film microcrystalline silicon (μc-Si) solar cell. High resolution X-ray diffraction (HR-XRD) shows a c-axis oriented ZnO (0 0 2) peak (hexagonal crystal structure) at 34.3° with full width at half maximum (FWHM) of 0.3936°. Atomic force microscope (AFM) measures high surface roughness root-mean-square (RMS) of the layer (50.76 nm) which suggests scattering of the incident light at the front surface of the solar cell. UV–vis spectrophotometer illustrates that ZnO ARC has optical transmittance of more than 80% in the visible and infra-red (IR) regions and corresponds to band gap (Eg) of 3.3 eV as derived from Tauc equation. Inclusion of ZnO ARC successfully suppresses surface reflectance from the cell to 2% (at 600 nm) due to refractive index grading between the Si and the ZnO besides quarter-wavelength (λ/4) destructive interference effect. The reduced reflectance and effective scattering effect of the incident light at the front side of the cell are believed to be the reasons why short-circuit current (Isc) and efficiency (η) of the cell improve.  相似文献

Spectra of 107Ag18O and 107Ag16O molecules have been obtained in a low-pressure arc in oxygen atmosphere, and recorded with medium dispersion. Vibrational assignments for the bands of B 2π —X2π system were verified by the study of the oxygen isotope effect, and the vibrational constants were obtained for the states involved in transitions.  相似文献
